Updates!

Apologies for being MIA for way too long.  BUT, I have good news.  I received my manuscript back from my agent.  I have done the edits.  The manuscript is now 98K (down from 116K) and with beta readers for a final time.  My agent just asked for the blurb, which means she's pitching to some heavy hitters this coming week at RWA.  Everyone hope and pray that the betas love what they read and so does the agent cause I'm itching to start pitching!

Also, I submitted two short stories to a small publisher and, from what I understand, they are going to be accepted and both have very exciting prospects.  This means I WILL have something to promote at Authors After Dark this year *phew* I was getting worried.  Imagine being on the author's signing promo and having nothing worth signing!  On a side note, I also submitted a poem to a SF magazine...just for giggles.  Let's see how that does. 

Working on putting up the website and designing business cards.  I have some time off next week, so I'm hoping to finish the Steampunk WIP, but I'm also going to RWA, so I have no clue how much time I'm going to have to do that!
